Summer Youth Field Hockey (K-8) Clinic
Registration Open

Our Kindergarten to 5th grade and 6th to 8th grade summer field hockey clinic will introduce children to the basic skills and rules of field hockey. It focuses on fun driven learning so they they keep wanting to play. We want them looking forward to coming back for every session.
Practice Structure
- Warm up (roughly 10 minutes)
- The second part of practice focuses on independent control skills (dribbling/dodging), hitting, pushing and sweeping. Though the players all do this together as a group, they complete the skill on their own.
- Fun games, some involving field hockey and some which are just games.
- The next part of the session features small groups of players working together on passing the ball and moving into new positions.
- The session concludes with a scrimmage
The clinic will have a limited amount of sticks to loan players. Players need a field hockey stick, shin guards, mouthguards and a water bottle.
